Elevate Reservation Policies
Please address us with any questions or concerns –
we are happy to help.
Rates and Occupancy - All rates quoted
are per night, per suite in Canadian dollars. Rates are
subject to the current 6% Federal Goods & Services
Tax. There is no Hotel Tax for private owner rentals.
GST is refundable to all non-residents of Canada. Refunds
may be obtained at the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency
in Whistler Village, at the border or by mail. Application
for visitor tax refund can be obtained from http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/gf/gst176/README.html.
Rates and taxes are subject to change without notice.
The maximum number of guests is set by the individual
owner. Please respect this. Violation of this policy may
result in termination of the occupancy with no refund.
Deposit and Final Payment - A 30% deposit
per suite is due at time of booking (total charges including
taxes) and is non-refundable. Price and room availability
are not guaranteed until deposit is received. Final payment
is due 30 days prior to arrival or 45 days prior to arrival
for bookings with any dates falling in the Holiday Season
(December 22, 2006 to January 2, 2007) and is non-refundable.
Travel insurance is highly recommended.
The credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express)
provided at the time of booking will automatically be
charged on the final payment due date unless other arrangements
have been made in advance.
Reservations made less than 30 days prior to arrival (45
days for Holiday Season) must be paid in full at the time
of booking.
Elevate cannot guarantee changes or refunds for activities
that we have booked on your behalf, however we will do
our best to assist with refunds.
Confirmation - A reservation is considered
confirmed when a deposit has been received. Your confirmation
will be sent via email, fax or regular post.
Changing a Reservation – Elevate will do
the best it can to accommodate a reservation change, but
is not guaranteed and is based on availability.
Elevate is happy to accommodate minor date changes up
to 48 hours prior to arrival, that adjust the arrival
or departure date by a maximum of two days before or after
the original arrival date for an administration fee of
$45 + GST.
Any other significant changes to a reservation will be
subject to the following fees.
Changes requested 7-29 days prior to arrival will forfeit
$300 + GST or the 30% deposit paid at the time of booking,
whichever is greater. We will happy to refund your money
if we can replace your booking. Refunds are at the re-booked
rate and based on the number of nights re-booked. All
cancellation refunds are subject to the above mentioned
fees.
Changes requested less than 7 days prior to arrival will
forfeit all monies paid. Guests who do not show for their
reservation will forfeit all monies paid.
Confirmation of any changes will be sent via email, fax
or regular post.
Security Deposit – Our guests are
staying in a private residence that Elevate is proud and
fortunate to represent. Please respect your home away
from home.
At check-in, a registered occupant will be required to
provide a valid credit card in their own name. The credit
card voucher will be held as a security deposit in the
amount of $500 however liability is not limited to that
amount. The credit card will be voided 3-4 weeks after
departure, provided there is no damage, missing inventory,
excessive cleaning required or telephone charges. Guest
assumes full liability for damages.
Release of Liability - Elevate does not
refund and is not liable for any claims, losses, damages,
loss of enjoyment, of any nature to you or your group
members resulting from events beyond our control. Examples
include, but are not limited to, weather conditions, snow
conditions, road closures. Again we recommend travel insurance
should a situation of this nature arise.
Rental Age - Registered occupants must
be a minimum of 21 years of age for all elevate properties.
At check-in, the registered occupant may be required to
produce photo ID.
Smoking – We thank you for respecting
our non-smoking policy in all suites and common areas.
Any violation of the no smoking policy will result in
the loss of the guest security deposit.
Pet Policy – We at Elevate love
dogs and appreciate traveling with dogs. We welcome well-trained
dogs in designated "pet friendly" suites for
a one-time fee of $90 + GST. Additional charges may apply
for extra cleaning, damages to property or noise complaints.
Pets found in non-designated "pet friendly"
suites will result in a fine of $200 per pet and possible
eviction with no refund.
Check-in and Check-out - Check-in is
at 4:00 p.m. Check-out is 10:00 a.m. Elevate is happy
to extend a late check-out or early check-in, should that
be a convenience.
Travel Insurance - Travel insurance is
highly recommended to ensure a positive experience should
anything arise. Contact your local insurance agent for
information. |
